WHAT IS REMY HUMAN HAIR?


Remy human hair is the highest grade of real, human hair available on the market and is a preferred choice for hair extensions, hairpieces and wigs because it achieves the most natural look. 
Remy Hair is considered to be the finest quality of human hair because the cuticles are kept intact and not stripped or shaved, like in most other non-Remy hair extensions. This is important because the cuticle protects the inner structure of the hair and is the first-line defense against all forms of damage to the hair. With Remy hair, the cuticles (the outermost layer of the hair strand) are all layered in the same direction, thus creating extensions that have a very natural appearance. This process ensures that the hair remains super soft, shiny, and tangle-free and therefore the extensions last longer than a non-Remy human hair.


GL hair extensions use only the finest quality Remy Human Hair, which means that the hair has been carefully sorted after collecting from the hair donor to ensure all the cuticles are of the same length. It is by far the best quality of clip-in human hair extensions on the market because of the care that is required and the time it takes to sort the hair so meticulously.

 

WHAT QUALITY SHOULD I LOOK FOR WHEN BUYING HAIR EXTENSIONS?


Remy Human Hair Extensions — Remy hair is produced using only the finest quality of human hair available. Our Remy hair is 100% cuticle correct (root to tip) and has been processed leaving the cuticle intact to prolong the life of the hair. Silky and resistant to tangling, Remy hair is an excellent choice when shopping for hair extensions.

Golden Lush utilizes “BRAID" hair signifying that the cuticle layers are all facing the same direction from root to end, therefore, do not tangle. This also ensures that the extensions behave exactly like your hair, blending in superbly with yours and looking super natural!

Our hair quality is rated from 5A+ to 6A+ (the higher the better).

 

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SYNTHETIC AND HUMAN HAIR EXTENSIONS?


Hair extensions made from human hair can be dyed, heated (curled or straightened), styled, washed, and treated like your own natural hair. Hair extensions made from synthetic hair are sensitive to the sun, don’t last as long as human hair, are difficult to style, and cannot blend in as well with your real hair. 
Human hair has a natural feel and styling versatility as compared to synthetic hair that does not change its present shape. 2. Synthetic hair extensions and pieces cannot be dyed or color treated. ... Synthetic hair is poor heat resistant and can melt near heated areas like fireplaces etc 

Expect to pay anywhere from $20-$45/bundle for synthetic hair extensions, and real human hair based on the grade. Prices may vary. Golden Lush Extensions can take up to 470 degrees C in heat. 


IS THE TAPE MADE OF HYPOALLERGENIC TAPE OR A "GEL" TAPE ADHESIVE?


This is a very common question that everyone wants to know. When it comes to tape extensions, you want a hypoallergenic regular tape adhesive. This type of tape adhesive is the best as it is strong, durable and waterproof but it doesn't rip out your hair or causes irritation to your scalp.  Some other tape brands are made with a very (read: too) strong adhesive. It is called a gel-based tape extension. Yes, this type of hair extension is STRONG and lasts...until the very end when you go to take your hair out. It's impossible and you lose a lot of hair. The downside: Your hair rips out at a time of removal. YOU DO NOT want this type of tape extension. The best type of tape extension is one that is strong but not gel based. Flatiron to apply the tape extensions to seal the tape adhesive properly! The whole point of tape extensions is to have a damage-free semi-permanent hair extension method. Be sure to know your tape before it goes into your hair! 


HOW MANY ARE PIECES RECOMMENDED FOR A FULL HEAD? (For tape hair) or (20pcs/50g for other types of hair)


Here are the following details of how many pieces that are recommended when purchasing the following tape hair.

20 pieces pack:

Many people often inquire about 20 pieces packs as this is the cheapest available pack. These are ONLY considered a ‘booster’ pack for those who already have tape extensions and want a few new pieces or need extra volume. A 20 piece pack will NOT be enough for any hair type as this will only make ten sandwiches of hair. (When applying for tape extensions, two pieces are sandwiched at the root over sections of your hair)  As you can probably imagine, a 20 piece set will not be enough for a full head of hair.

40 pieces pack:

The least amount of pieces we recommend for all customers is our 40 piece packs. This pack is enough for thin to normal hair types and is ideal for ladies with fine hair. A 40 piece pack is considered a standard amount of tape hair extensions, as many people find they use between 30-40 pieces. This, of course, creates 20 sandwiches of hair for a full volume. If your own hair is shorter than shoulders length, we do recommend more than 40 pieces.

60 pieces pack:

Finally, the 60 piece pack. This amount is perfect for those with thick hair or wants to add a lot of overall volumes. For those whose natural hair is medium/thick or have quite a coarse hair type, this pack is perfect. We usually recommend this option when we get asked how many pieces of tape hair extensions for a full head of hair. This will create 30 sandwiches which are a lot to hold if your hair is not super thick. Our 60 piece sets will create a full overall look with extra thickness and super volume. We do not recommend more than 60 pieces and will not tolerate neglect of overuse.
Your hairstyle and cut are very important when blending tape hair extensions. It does not only depend on how many pieces you purchase for a full head. If you are struggling to make your extensions blend, your hair should usually always be thinned out towards the ends. This can be achieved with the use of layers or specific cutting techniques. Having thinner ends in your natural hair will create a seamless blend and no harsh lines where your natural hair ends.


IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please test out one piece/sandwich before continues. If you felt, the tape was not strong enough/weakening that might cause sliding after the first wash, you must stop immediately and contact Golden Lush Extensions.


CAN I COLOR GL HAIR EXTENSIONS?


Yes. Hair extensions have already undergone a chemical process and are designed to accept color change.  We recommend having your hair extensions professionally colored by a hairstylist who preferably has experience with coloring hair extensions. We advise that a test sample is colored first on the smallest hair extension weft to make sure you obtain your desired color results.  We also recommend using a semi-permanent color as it is much gentler and less damaging to the hair extensions.


IMPORTANT: We do not recommend lightening your hair extensions, especially with bleach.  We recommend that if you have two or more colors in your own hair, to get hair extensions that match your lightest color and have them darkened, instead of getting the darker shade and having it lightened.

 

CAN I STRAIGHTEN GL HAIR EXTENSIONS?


Yes. You can straighten, blow-dry, curl, and style human hair extensions, just as you would your own hair.

NOTE: We also do not recommend that you go to sleep or bed with your hair extensions being wet or damp.


CAN I WEAR HAIR EXTENSIONS TO THE BEACH OR POOL? WILL THEY GET RUINED IF THEY GET WET?


You can definitely wear Hair Extensions to the beach or by the pool, however, we would not recommend getting in the water with them (unless you have your hair up and it will not get wet).  Golden Lush Hair Extensions are made from real human hair, so they won't get ruined if they get wet, however, when wet, they might get very tangled with your own hair and that would be damaging to both your own hair and the extensions.

WHAT PRODUCTS CAN BE USED ON GOLDEN LUSH HAIR EXTENSIONS?


Choose high quality products, specifically the protective formula is free from harsh sulfates, gluten and parabens as they will keep strands healthy and nourished for daily use. Heat protectant sprays, serums and any other leave-in conditioners or treatments are also very beneficial and will prolong the life of your GL hair extensions.

Golden Lush Extensions online store accepts Visa and credit payment. Please select "PayPal" as your payment option to get to the final page. CAN MY BILLING AND SHIPPING ADDRESSES BE DIFFERENT?

Yes, your billing address can be different from your shipping address. However, your billing address MUST MATCH the address associated with the credit card that you are using to complete your purchase with full coverage, such as lost/stolen and damage during transit/delivery. We want to ensure the package arrives in safely and securely. 


During your checkout process in PayPal link, you will first be asked to enter the shipping address, which corresponds to the location to which you want your purchase deliver.


During the checkout process, you will be prompted to enter your billing address. The billing address can be different from the shipping address. However, your billing address must match the address associated with the credit card that you are using to complete your purchase for full coverage.

WILL I GET CHARGED CUSTOMS FEES/TAXES WHEN I RECEIVED MY PACKAGE?

Only for international shipment. ( There is no CHARGE OR EXTRA FEE for Canada and United States order)


I RECEIVED MY ORDER BUT WITH MISSING PACKAGES?


If there is any issue regarding your order by mistaken quantity or colors that were sent, we will take the necessary action to resend the missing package out to you as soon as possible.  For us to ensure color/quality was sent out correctly. Please check the following steps before making any decision. Have you checked the orange sticker on the package labels that "indicates quantity"? If so, was the quantity in the description correct?

 

The package can be packed in bundles of two/one. (Example: If you ordered two quantities, then you should only be expecting one package with two bundles inside and package label will indicate 2.5*40pcs or 2.5*20pcs (Please note: One bundle are a quantity of one).

 

-Fusion hair, Micro Loop, Nano, V-tip fusion, Stick tip: 50g(one bundle) or 100g (two bundles)

-Tape hair: 2.5*40pcs or 2.5*20pcs

If you still believe there's an error in the order. Please send us ONE attachment of all the packages altogether and a close-up image of the hair package labels. Our team will take a look and know exactly how many quantities were sent. 


REFUND POLICY


DO YOU HAVE A RETURN POLICY OR EXCHANGE POLICY?


Yes, we are pleased to offer a Return Policy on unopened hair extensions. We find that we have remarkably low return rates and we are proud of the high-quality hair extensions that we offer. However, we understand that there may be a case in which you need to return or exchange your order and we are more than happy to accommodate returns and exchanges on hair extensions that have not been opened, worn or tampered with.


If you are not 100% satisfied with your order/color did not match, we do offer an exchange/refund policy. If you are returning or exchanging our aftercare products, they must not be opened or must be in their original packing as must all of our products. Hair Extensions must be unused. If you have used them and would like to return for a refund due to unsatisfied hair quality, we gladly to accept your returns.  Refunds will be processed in the same tender as your original transaction. Rewards points associated with your refund will be removed when the transaction is processed.
In the event that any order is incorrect, it must be notified to us within 7 (seven) days after delivery. Our store accepts return within 21 days. In the case of incorrect orders, the products shall be returned to us for exchange and we shall redeliver the correct order at our own cost.
 
MAY I RETURN MY ORDER?


We are more than happy to accommodate returns on hair extensions that have NOT been opened, worn or tampered with.
You may return your GL Hair Extensions order ONLY if they have been unopened, unworn, defected, wrong colors, clients canceled, and unopened bundle.


WHY ARE GL HAIR EXTENSIONS NON-RETURNABLE IF WORN, OPENED PACKAGE/BUNDLE?


Human hair extensions are considered to be a hygienic product. We take matters of hygiene and public safety seriously and DO NOT ALLOW open items to be returned for the safety of all of our customers.
We are not alone; other hair extensions retailers also do not allow returns on an opened bundle for the same reasons.


HOW DO I MAKE A RETURN?


You must contact us first at within the industry-leading twenty-one (21) Day Return Period. We will then issue you a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). All GL Hair Extensions must be shipped back unopened in its original packaging and the packaging must not be defaced in any way or a return will not be issued. All returns must be accompanied by a copy of your invoice.
We will then provide you with our return address which is in Kitchener, Ontario, where the returned items will be inspected to see if you qualify for a return. Opened bundle merchandise will not be refunded.


DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING OF MY RETURN?


Yes. You are responsible for all return shipping costs unless errors are ours and we recommend that you send your return with a tracking number as we won’t be responsible for lost returns.
If you are returning a package from outside of the United States, please indicate on package “RETURN, NO DUTIES” or there is a risk that your package will be returned back to you.


WHY IS EXPRESS SHIPPING NON-REFUNDABLE?


All shipping fee is non-refundable as the delivery company already delivered their service that you paid for and therefore cannot be refunded.


WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY REFUND?


A full refund will be issued to your original method of payment after we have received and inspected that the returned hair extensions were not opened.


WHAT IS THE RETURN PERIOD?


We will provide a full refund on unopened hair extensions within an industry leading twenty- one (21) days of the date that you receive your hair extensions.


MAY I RETURN GL HAIR EXTENSIONS WITHOUT CONTACTING YOU OR GETTING AN RMA?


No. You must contact us prior to sending your return as our return address is different than where we ship our hair extensions from. Also, the RMA facilitates tracking of your returned product and expedites your refund.
Please note that refunds for merchandise returned without contacting us will be denied as returns cannot be accepted at our store.

 

EXCHANGE POLICY


DO YOU HAVE AN EXCHANGE POLICY?

We understand that picking the right color might be a bit difficult when choosing from a computer screen, so we’d be more than glad to exchange your unopened Hair Extension set to the right color. Due to hygienic reasons we only exchange items that have NOT been opened, worn or tampered with.


MAY I EXCHANGE MY ORDER?


We are more than happy to accommodate exchanges on hair extensions that have NOT been opened, worn or tampered with.

You may exchange your GL Hair Extensions order ONLY if they have been unopened bundle/package.


DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE SHIPPING OF MY EXCHANGE?


Yes. You are responsible for all exchange shipping costs and we recommend that you send your exchange with a tracking number as we won’t be responsible for lost returns.
If you are returning a package from outside of the United States, please indicate on package “RETURN, NO DUTIES” or there is a risk that your package will be returned back to you.


WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY EXCHANGE?


We will send you the different color hair extensions after we have received and inspected that the returned hair extensions were not opened and taken out of its cardboard backing which is protected by a golden security seal.


WHAT DOES IT MEAN WHEN AN ITEM IS ON BACK-ORDER?

 

Popular items may sell out quickly and temporarily be on back order. This means that the items are currently out of stock but that there are shipments on their way to re-stock our warehouses. Ordering an item that is currently on back order is a worry-free way to ensure that you will be first in line for the new inventory and that the item which you ordered will be sent out to you as soon as we receive it!

  • Items you order in addition to the back ordered item will be held back.
  • The back ordered items in any order will automatically ship out as soon as we receive the item in the order which they were placed.
  • You will be notified via a shipment confirmation email (and a tracking number) once your back ordered items have shipped. You will not need to contact customer support or do anything to follow up on the back ordered item. We will take care of it for you from here on out!
  • We will do our best to estimate when back-ordered items are expected to ship, and post this information on the website. This is only an estimation, subject to change, and shipping dates are not guaranteed.


WRONG ADDRESS DISCLAIMER: 


It is the responsibility of the buyer to make sure that they enter their address correctly. Orders are shipped the next business day and address changes cannot be made after 3:30 PM EST on the day of your order. Please double check the address you are entering as we will NOT be held responsible for packages that are sent to the wrong address that the buyer has entered that are subsequently sent to the incorrect address which the customer entered during the ordering process.


If your order is already processing or has already shipped, we cannot change the address UNTIL the first attempt.
